"Momentary Life" es el tema musical clásico de Baiken, que apareció por primera vez en el videojuego Guilty Gear original, y que luego fue rearreglado para los videojuegos Guilty Gear X, Guilty Gear XX y todos sus títulos actualizados. Solo en la versión coreana del videojuego Guilty Gear XX ♯Reload no aparece, ya que es reemplazada por la pista musical "Ricochet".
Una fusión del gagaku japonés tradicional y el sonido thrash metal característico de la saga Guilty Gear, el tema es la canción insignia de Baiken, la única superviviente japonesa de los campos de batalla de las Cruzadas. Abriendo con un acorde de koto seductor y oscuro y encantador, la canción acelera su marcha con un ascenso en la batería, y grita fuerte con una explosión de guitarra eléctrica de la nada como el grito de batalla de un demonio. Quizás una de sus características más conocidas es el uso de una flauta shakuhachi en su coro, sacando emociones profundas de mono no aware y el dolor del reino caótico y efímero de la vida, presionando fuerte contra el espíritu de lucha y las dificultades del mundo. Con todo, la canción se adapta a un guerrero samurái como Baiken y se hace eco del mundo de la batalla, no muy diferente del shurado, el reino del conflicto y la violencia interminables a los que todos los luchadores y guerreros se atreven a caminar hasta sus desconocidas profundidades de carnicería.
