Thunderseal is Ky Kiske's signature weapon, designed to amplify lightning magic and one of the eight Sacred Treasures that originally formed The Outrage.

Design[]

In Guilty Gear, Guilty Gear X & Guilty Gear XX the Thunderseal appears as a thin bladed sword, almost akin to a bulky rapier, with a blue-two-sided bulky handguard, blue-grip and a blue-pronged pommel.

In In Dizzy's arcade mode in Guilty Gear Xrd Rev2 the sword returns in it's regenerated state, without the Thunderseal's large round handguard & uniquely shaped pommel, showing a blue glowing core under the old handguard.

In Guilty Gear -Strive- the sword retains a similar design to its appearance in Guilty Gear Xrd Rev2, but now sporting a cross shaped handguard that covers more of the blue core.

Story[]

When Ky Kiske rose in rank to the leader of the Sacred Order of Holy Knights, the Thunderseal was given to him by Kliff as a recognition to his rise to leadership and skill in lightning magic.

In Lightning the Argent, Sol Badguy confiscated the Thunderseal from Ky to stop him from interfering with his activities. He returned it before Ky faced Sebass.

In Guilty Gear 2 Overture, Ky Kiske used the Thunderseal to stop time itself on the Maiden of the Grove to halt her sublimation, rendering it incorporeal. Ky Kiske used another sword called Aquila during this time. He later acquires a modified sword called Magnolia Éclair in Guilty Gear Vastedge XT.

In Dizzy's arcade mode in Guilty Gear Xrd Rev2 it is shown that the Thunderseal can automatically regenerate after being disassembled, forming into a more traditional sword like shape.

During the events of Guilty Gear -Strive-, Ky  wields the Thunderseal once again, which has taken on a new appearance similar to it's regenerated shape in Guilty Gear Xrd Rev2.
